I want to be a monster, I want to be you

What am I?
Living alone in this dense forest of walking corpses,
Lying in a coffin—a box where illuminated visions once shined.
Now all is rotten, just a moth lingering in a cobweb.

Feel me. I can see you. How have you been?
It’s been so long. Did you miss your father?
You once begged for one more breath,
And now you carry a heart that knows nothing but ache.

I created you from shadow,
Where light once flickered from a candle—
Now all that remains is silence.
May tomorrow come soon.

But before you answer my question,
I want to believe you see me through that mirror.
Am I truly the monster you created?
Or just a creature born from you while you were asleep?

I wish

I wish to be with you,
To sink into your shadowed embrace,
Wondering what it will feel like
To follow you beyond the veil of time.

I wish to shed this endless sorrow,
To break free from the prison of days,
Crawling toward you, step by step,
Hoping that moment comes tonight—or never.

Oh, how I ache for you,
How I burn to be near you,
Lying in this hollow, empty bed,
Wishing for you, my dear death,
To claim me gently and silence all.
