The house is waiting

Cold winter is calling you home
I wish I could feel it too.
The truth lies here, still and sharp—
I can’t unsee it. Is that a lie too?

The mirror no longer reflects me.
I’m bound to these walls,
Blinded by the fog.
I wish I could see you one more time…
I wish you could see me too.

The house is empty. Hungry.
Maggots feast on what remains.
When your presence returns again,
Maybe—just maybe—
We can finally rest.

Isolation

Sometime it’s the only place where I can hide,
The only place where I can live.
Feels like the only place where I can speak—
The only place where I believe.

Nothing to be afraid of — it’s me.
I found you — can we play?
How long have you been here?
I don’t remember; you were the one who caged me.

Silence—

Such beautiful sunshine.
When are you coming back again?
There’s a lot to be.
I’ll be waiting here.
Please leave the key — sometimes I want to be free.

But it’s the only place where I can hide,
The only place where I belong.

Isolation—
